Artists & Performers – Backgrounds and Genres
Umoja Music Fest features a diverse roster of artists and performers from across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) as well as national Canadian talent. The lineup reflects the multicultural fabric of the community, with many artists representing African, Caribbean, Indigenous, and diasporic cultural traditions alongside broader Canadian influences.
Participating performers include established and emerging musicians, cultural practitioners, dancers, and spoken-word artists whose work is rooted in heritage storytelling, contemporary expression, and community engagement.
